Hello and welcome to bettedavis.org . This fan club site is still being developed so please email if you have any photographs or stories or suggestions that we can use. Can you believe Bette would have been 100 years of age on 6th April 2008, WOW! Let me tell you briefly how this site has come about. I have always quite liked Bette Davis films, but would not have considered myself a "fan". But I had recently searched on Google for a particular Bette Davis film I remembered seeing some years ago, but could not remember the title of. Anyway, much to my surprise Bette had made many more movies than I had realized but their seemed to be very little information available on these other than a few short listing with titles and dates, a real shame! There was also far fewer web sites than I expected and worse still I could see no one had even bothered to register bettedavis.org , a name I had fully expected to type in and bring up some sort of fan site. How quickly Hollywood neglects or forgets its own. Anyway, to me it seemed a real shame that such a huge screen legend has only a few well intentioned amateur sites on the net. So please help me make this site a fitting tribute to this great actress by emailing me any any photographs, stories or suggestions. Also It would be great if we are able to include very short trailers for each and every one of Bette's films! If you have any rare TV or Film appearances you could lend us then please get in touch. I have already managed to buy almost 40 of Bette's movies online and will update an initial site containing a list of "Wanted" titles as soon as I have established what is Rare and what is not! This web site is being written and put together by myself and all you other Bette Davis fans out there on a not for profit basis, it will not have annoying adds, pop ups or affiliations links. Just high quality content to pay tribute to one of the finest movie stars the silver screen has ever known. So please do help us by emailing us your suggestions, stories and photos of Bette!
